Fundraiser to Provider Uninsured Almeda Families with Homes
Party in the Pasture, Inc. started as a way to bring our community together to accomplish three things which include fundraising for causes we are passionate about, bringing attention to our very generous local businesses, and ultimately blessing those around us in need. We accomplish this by holding an annual fundraising event (and sometimes smaller ones throughout the year) for the cause we feel needs attention.
We see it as an absolute WIN-WIN-WIN! We get to come together, enjoy one another, raise money for a much-needed cause, highlight our local businesses, and have those in attendance go home with a good experience and wonderful items. In the end, 100% of proceeds go to the cause featured.
Almeda Fire Support
100% of all funds raised in 2020 and until further notice will be going to families that lost their homes in the Almeda Fire. Party in the Pasture, Inc. will partner with approved families in assisting in down payments and/or sponsoring permanent or semi-permanent housing.
Party in the Pasture, Inc. is using a 3rd party board (Jacksonville Presbyterian) to receive and approve applications for funding. This allows our Party in the Pasture board to remain unbiased (our heartstrings can be pulled easily).
Once families are approved, Party in the Pasture will provide financial support directly to the entity providing housing and/or help coordinate when needed. We are honored to help, and love meeting the families. We also see if there are other ways we can assist them in getting settled. This is all possible with the amazing support of our community!
Our first annual Party in the Pasture was intended as a one-time event as we were raising money for Southern Oregon Sparrow Clubs (a wonderful organization that we still love to support)! In 2020 when the Almeda Fire devastated our region, we were looking for how we could make a dent with so many in need!
We knew one of the biggest needs was both long-term and temporary housing and we knew it was needed quickly. With the help of our incredible community, we rallied within two weeks to create a sold-out Party in the Pasture with over 100 local businesses contributing to both a live and silent auction.
We raised roughly $100,000 at the event itself and continue to receive donations. We are proud to say that 100% of every penny made is going directly to approved families by way of down payment and/or RV purchase assistance. We decided to use a third-party application approval process so that we were taken out of the equation as we would have a hard time not saying yes to everybody!
Once families are approved, we work with the entity the housing is being purchased from and make payment directly to that entity. We then see if there are other ways we can tangibly help families with getting settled. Please continue to come back to this site to meet the families we are supporting with your help!

Although we know we will support other causes in the future, at this time all funds will continue to go towards the Almeda Fire Families. Thank you for your part in making this effort a reality. We are humbled by the continued outpouring of love and assistance!
